Title: "Unfolding Lives"

Description:

This memorial was funded by the state and federal governments to acknowledge the often unjust treatment of children in state care and in particular those who were brought to Australiato work on farm schools before and following WW2. This group has been referred to as "The Forgotten Australians". The memorial is amde in the form of a universally popular child's paper fortune teller "Chaterbox". The text is drawn from the good and bad experiences of children in care. Text written by (Prof T.A White).
